Naga and shrimp girl

I drew some new characters! (but I don't have names for them yet.) I wasn't sure how to draw scales, so I was messing around with the brush tools in photoshop and decided on using the leaf tool, does it look like I overdid it? Please tell me if you like this, or if you have any suggestions to help improve!
